Creativity techniques

You have certainly heard or even used the phrase think outside the box”. But let’s be honest: it is much more often said than actually done. In the hectic world we live in today – with phones ringing, constant access to emails and other communication channels – it’s quite challenging  to mentally relax and focus on what you want to achieve or the problem you want to solve. We’re simply surrounded by constant distractions. Our goal is to help you start dreaming and get your head up in the clouds (not down here on planet Earth where your mobile phone is reminding you of all the stuff you need to do).

Remember what Martin Luther King said:
“I have a dream” and not “I have a plan.”

Our creativity trainings are customized and tailored to meet your needs. In the initial dialogue we’ll look at your end goal and work backwards in the planning. This, by the way, is the way Walt Disney created his movies. He started with the end picture in mind and worked backwards from there. This creativity technique is called “Dreaming Backwards” and is an excellent tool to help you plan at the end what you want to roll out, try out, implement – whatever.

Only when we know what you want to achieve can we select the tools and techniques that best meet your needs. We’ll start by creating a relaxed learning atmosphere in the workshop to help you take that initial creative step forward. Our tools and techniques can be designed to solve one problem and help you come up with possible solutions to it or we can show you a broad range of techniques and tools which you can apply later, for example, in project teams or on your own. We’ll also show a range of tools to help you evaluate and prioritize your ideas, so that you truly know where to begin.

“Creativity is intelligence having fun.”
